Fort Hamilton ASAP consists of Employee Assistance Program (EAP), substance abuse prevention training, military and civilian drug testing and unit prevention leader (UPL) certification and re-certfication training. Substance abuse prevention includes soldier and civilian prevention education and training and civilian and military drug testing. Prevention education/training includes soldier and civilian substance abuse prevention training and the coordination of seasonal substance abuse prevention information campaigns. Training can be scheduled upon request by contacting the installation ASAP Manager at (718) 630-4245. (Request 5-7 days lead time where possible). Normal hours of availability are Monday thru Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The installation drug testing program consists of drug testing for soldiers and authorized civilians including pre-employment testing, probable cause testing and post-accident testing). Normal hours of availability are 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - 8 a.m. - 12 p.m, Friday. Wednesdays are closed.
