Colonel Peter A. Sicoli is from New Hyde Park, NY and was commissioned as an Armor Officer through ROTC at St. John’s University in 1991.

Colonel Sicoli holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from St. John’s University, a Masters of Military Arts and Sciences Degree in Advanced Military Studies from the Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, a Masters of Science Administration from Central Michigan University, and a Masters of Science in National Resource Strategy from the National Defense University, Washington, DC.

Colonel Sicoli’s military education includes the Armor Officers Basic and Advanced Courses, Scout Platoon Leader’s Course, Airborne, Air Assault and Ranger Schools, the U.S. Army Command and General Staff Officer Course, the School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS) and the Industrial College of the Armed Forces (Eisenhower School).

Colonel Sicoli has served in a variety of command and staff positions in combat brigades throughout the US and overseas to include multiple combat deployments to Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Prior to assuming command of the Fort Hamilton Garrison he served as the Operations Officer (G3) with the 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, GA.
