The Mission of the Operations and Maintenance Division is to effectively and efficiently provide services that support the facilities and infrastructure on Fort Hamilton.

Operations and Maintenance includes; building and system maintenance, energy management, grounds maintenance, building cleaning and work control.

The Quality Assurance (QA) section is responsible for complete field surveillance and technical evaluation, coordination and recommendation of all Base Operations Support Contract requirements and associated DPW command interest items. Provides technical guidance, coordination and assistance to Contractor, DPW personnel and Government contracting staff. Provides coordination between tenants, MACOM, DOD, and private sector. Provides clarification and identifications to services required. In addition QA will: Schedule monitor/adjust sampling Plans, Inspect & document findings, Conduct performance briefings, Investigate, Validate and Resolve Customer Complaints, Initiate CDR’s , accept / reject as applicable, Recommend changes, modifications to PWS, Maintain comprehensive audit trail of contract on-goings, Provide Monthly Performance Summaries, Provide technical interpretation of the PRS and TE’s, and conduct performance trend analysis, as well as, all actions for continuous quality improvement as needed.
